Swati is a qualified Leather Technologist from A.C.Tech, Anna University, Chennai in collaboration with CLRI. Her stint at this premier institute, plus her professional work experience with TATA International Ltd. laid a strong foundation for her to venture out and with a substantial capital investment, and pursue her passion of making leather bags.
“It is my ardent desire to create and nurture a home grown leather fashion brand from India, that the world would admire and aspire for,” says Swati.
The business strategy of The January Leathers is very clear. It plans to use the best of leather, merge it with imaginative design and colors and create a brand that offers the rich luxury of leather at a hard to resist price tag!
