Snapping Through The Founder’s Lense- The Journey
A commerce student with a diploma in Interior design, Zuber’s inclination towards photography grew due to his hunger for creativity. Capturing important and life-changing moments on camera always fascinated him and thus his inclination towards photography grew in boundless volume. Starting with a basic DSLR camera that had no lights and extra lenses, Zuber set forth to follow his dream & passion with a humble beginning that eventually led to a successful career in photography. During the course of which, some of the marquee clients his brand has worked with includes-Lemon Tree Hotels, Sheraton, Le Meridien, Superdry, Radisson Blu, Grandmama’s Café etc.
Sharing his expeditious journey Zuber states, “I started my business at the age of 22 with an event photography project at a cafe called High Spirits. Fortunately, one of the randomly clicked pictures at the concert was selected and put for an exhibition in 2013. I was offered a job there and I started working there just for my passion. I was then slowly asked for professional portfolios in various fields of photography but to further hone & refine my skills, I thought of pursuing a professional course in photography. So I decided to learn photography at New York Film Academy in 2014 and Filmmaking at the same institute in 2016. While work and learning went parallel, I was offered a job at New York Film Academy as a teacher’s assistant. Due to family commitments, I came back to India & then started my studio in Pune in May 2017. Since then I have been working worldwide and have an excellent team of photographers and cinematographers.”
Zuber Memon Photography has so far served 500+clients worldwide and envisions having offices in multiple countries a few years down the line.
