For Namita Jaiswal the founder of NAM’S KITCHEN, the journey from a young girl finding her way around the kitchen to a successful restaurateur has in no way been as easy as it may seem.

NAM’S KITCHEN

Having sadly lost her mother at a very young age, she was left with her father and her brother. She watched her father cook and learnt the basics. However once she visited her Grandmother in Lucknow, she discovered a whole new world of cooking Awadhi style non-vegetarian food. Her marriage into a Bihari family then led her to discover cooking Bihari style non vegetarian food. She got exposed to different spices and spice mixes, marinates, preparation methods and more. Namita found herself getting appreciated for her preparations and she soon saw herself working towards her dream of taking her dishes to the public at large.

At the age of 52 Namita founded NAM’S KITCHEN at Gurugram. The journey of a passionate home chef turned women restaurateur had begun! Today it is a restaurant of choice for everyone looking to indulge is sumptuous central Indian food.

The Awadhi touch is predominant. NAM’S KITCHEN has starters, main course meals, rice and bread to go with the orders and to top it off, seasonal and traditional sweets.
