ADABKARI is a Chikankari brand launched by Ekta on 3rd June 2019. Born and brought up in
Lucknow, after completing her MBA, Ekta worked for 13 years in corporates like Kelly Services and HCL. Post her 1st kid, she chose to be a stay-at-home mother. This was when the idea came to launch her own brand to showcase her love for Chikankari which she grew up wearing.
The journey started from home via Instagram with a small investment of Rs.52000/- given by her Father. Soon they started participating in exhibitions in nearby societies and renowned MNCs which helped them grow. To fulfil her father’s last wish, Adabkari opened its first store in Lajpat Nagar, New Delhi on 3rd July 2021.

ADABKARI offers traditional Chikankari spreading across –
Stitched – Kurtis, Anarkalis, Short top, Complete Sets, and Shrugs.
Unstitched – Complete suits, Noori Piece and Lehnga.
Fabrics used for creating a Chikankari masterpiece includes a wide variety of Voil Cotton, Viscose, Foux Georgette, Organza, Chanderi, Muslin and Modal.
Adabkari operates with a small team of Karigars who specialize In different stitches of Lucknowi Chikankari and has already delivered Chikankari embroidered products to over 4000 pincodes within India and to over 6 countries globally.
TAKING TRADITIONAL FASHION TO NEW DESTINATIONS
After the tremendous response received both offline and online, ADABKARI aims to expand and
open its second store in Mumbai.
Another innovative idea that Ekta and her team thought of and brought up was “ADABKARI ON WHEELS” which lives up to the moto of “Bringing Chikankari to your doorstep”. Through this concept Adabkari’s team covers and connects with customers at their doorstep.
The next phase of growth will witness stores in Bangalore and Hyderabad too.
