An Information Science Engineer with work experience across various startups, after giving birth to her baby, Chaitra wanted to spend quality time with her little one. During her search for beautiful, comfortable, and unique ethnic wear for her little one, she realized the gap in the market – and also an opportunity to make a difference. Consequently, she took matters into her own hands and started designing baby clothes herself.
The overwhelmingly positive feedback she received when she shared the designs with friends and acquaintances, was enough to convince her that there was a real demand for unique and thoughtful baby clothing, and this passion quickly transformed into a business idea. Today BABY&ME is a portal that creates exclusive clothing inspired by South Indian traditional dressing styles, fabrics and colours.
