From best pals to business partners, it’s been quite a journey!
What happens when two best-friends collaborate over an idea? Well, in case of Nitya and Alekhya, they teamed up and a startup happened. The feisty 24-year-olds have been close pals since grade 2 and during this 15-year long journey of friendship, they’ve supported each other’s dreams and ambitions through and through. Both Nitya and Alekhya understand the nuances of gifting and as they candidly admit “it’s the best thing we do”. During Covid period, they decided to make use of this ability and come up with “completely customized packages made exclusively for each corporate after understanding the client perspective in minute detail.” Though software engineers by profession, they kept their startup dream alive even while working at a day job. Nitya recalls “The first order we did was only for 16 hampers during Diwali but due to word-of-mouth publicity, we got quite a positive response within a short span of time and many companies started placing orders for our hampers.”

With Love grasps the pulse of the target audience, to whom the company’s products would be presented as gifts. Moreover, the startup refrains from using plastic in any of its products, replacing plastic flowers with the real ones while ensuring ecofriendly, sustainable packaging. When asked about its biggest client, Alekhya says “We work for 3 famous film production houses and 2 well noted construction companies.”
Curating a bright future
Having served close to 1000 customers in a span of two years, P.S. With Love has created quite a buzz within a short span of time, thanks to its impeccable service and encouraging response from all quarters. In the next five years, the brand aims to expand into multiple arenas. The team is currently working on implementing the concept of a gifting planner. This will facilitate seamless planning for gifts on weddings, events and other occasions, thereby offering a more rewarding and hassle-free experience.
