Tishya’s journey into calligraphy began six years ago with lessons from a local instructor. However, her real awakening came two years later when she joined Instagram and realized much of her initial training was incorrect. This eye-opening experience highlighted significant challenges within the calligraphy community, including a lack of awareness, the premature abandonment of the craft by beginners, and a dearth of reliable support.
Determined to address these issues, Tishya founded The Calligraphy Square in 2021. The Calligraphy Square offers a structured, nurturing environment where calligraphers can access accurate information and robust support.
