Opened in 2018, Shibuya Food & Bar has quickly emerged as an award-winning Pan Asian restaurant based in New Delhi.

How Shibuya happened 


The passionate food stylist and food influencer, Simi Kohli is the cofounder of Shibuya and has eventually become its chief recipe developer and culinary head. She believes in gastronomical karma i.e the more you share the more you receive. Shibuya has benefited tremendously from her profound knowledge and vast experience.

Recalling her journey, she says  “I am a Food enthusiast and am passionate about Art and Travel. My interests entwined and I was able to  execute my dreams thanks to my husband and friends who constantly encouraged me to follow my calling. I started with Instagraming & blogging about my food journey which soon received attention and had a snowball effect where one thing led to another. From publishing food articles to food styling & photography projects to workshops and finally opening a restaurant, it has been a beautiful learning journey.”

What Times Square is to the West, Shibuya is to the East! It’s a hub in Japan that is full of eateries and bars, and has a fun vibe – the #ShibuyaVibe. The aim here is to recreate the Shibuya vibe with finger licking food, buzzing atmosphere & YOU!

Bringing a taste of the best in contemporary Pan-Asian cuisine to Delhi & NCR, the menu exemplifies the beauty and complexities of the cuisine. Dishes range in choice and presentation from dim sum to sushi, and personalized service from the core team tells the story of the cuisine. Specially devised for Shibuya, the cocktail menu features innovative drinks infused with unique flavors from the orient.

Achievements and adversities


So far, the customer feedback has been extremely encouraging and it is this unconditional love that gives the Shibuya team enough courage to push the envelope. In it’s very second year, Shibuya has received several prestigious awards such as TIMES FOOD & NIGHTLIFE AWARD for BEST ORIENTAL RESTAURANT in casual dining and the TRIPADVISOR TRAVELLERs CHOICE AWARD.

Although 2020 has been a hard year for businesses across the world, the F&B industry has been one of the worst hit. Surprisingly, the Shibuya team has survived the storm with a lot of courage and resilience.
