Swetapadma Mohanty founded Business Leadership League in 2019. She is from Cuttack, Odisha.
She is an Instrumentation Engineer and has an MBA degree from Symbiosis Institute of international
Business. She worked in Market Research Consulting with organizations like Indian Market Research
Bureau, Dun & Bradstreet Tangram, Care Ratings, Feedback Research, etc. In 2018, Swetapadma
started her journey with a travel portal.
She realised that like any other skill, entrepreneurship also has to be learned. Networks and platforms to generate opportunities were crucial in growing an enterprise. She joined various business networks, got to learn a lot and interacted with entrepreneurs, business owners and self employed professionals. It gave her the opportunity to understand their
challenges. There was a need for dynamic ecosystems that would give 360° support to small businesses, and thus Business Leadership League was born.
What’s the future of BLL?
Currently, there are more than 230 registered member organizations across multiple industries and
geographies. Business Leadership League aims to become 10,000 strong by 2023. In the next 5 yrs, it
should be one of the most dynamic ecosystems in terms of user base and engagement.
