Bringing such a brilliant talented fashion designer, Anjali Lilaria from Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh is surely worth sharing.
The journey of Anjali is commendable who started her career with a humble beginning and a modest investment from the scratch. Having completed her fashion designing from Jaipur, she undertook Garment Production & Export Management course from Rajasthan University and added to her expertise further through MBA in Retail marketing. She launched her fashion design firm Lagan Mandap in 2011 when she set out to pursue her dreams and showcased her design skills to everyone. The initial journey post-marriage had its shares of ups and downs but the endearing, courageous womanpreneur stepped ahead to shine high with her name in the fashion world.
Talking about her venture, Anjali shares that being a woman entrepreneur is not a cinch and managing multiple roles has its own share of struggles. She mentions “Having skill & expertise in any field is the biggest asset any woman can possess and one should not refrain from leveraging the same.” At every walk of her life, she drew inspiration from her father’s learning and the zeal to prove her mettle has brought her out with flying colours. Along with running a successful business, Anjali has also managed her family responsibilities to the fullest. She is an example that a woman can be a great mother, wife, daughter and entrepreneur at the same time. She can do it all!
Anjali has single-handedly built her business from zero to where it has successfully reached today.
The Glittering Dreams Of Anjali in Years Ahead
Anjali has worked not only with celebrities like Krushna Abhishek, Arti Singh, Jasleen Matharu, Deepika Singh, beauty pageants with Shreya Rao and a few other Big Boss fames but also supplies her fashion couture for musical album shoots. She aspires to not only rise professionally but also inspire budding designers and females to independently strive for their living through a suitable career option. She has presently a workforce of 21 artisans who have learnt the intricate handmade work and help her come up with fabulous collections such as sarees, cocktail dresses, gowns, festive wear outfits, men’s and kid’s wear that are all tailor-made according to client’s need.
Throughout her brand journey, Anjali has supported many locals and she wishes to continue supporting and uplifting them.
