Friendship is a strong bond and it can lead people to achieve wonderful things in life. So when 2 childhood best friends, who studied together, worked together and who ever since childhood always wanted to be fashion designers, decided to start their own fashion venture – there was no looking back.
Having graduated with a degree in Textile and Fashion, they both set about creating a fashion brand that was women centric. At the same time, they also stayed focused on crafting fashion that was truly trendy and would appeal in every sense to the feminine urge, to look the best on every occasion. What pushed them towards their dream was the fact, that they even won the Best Couture Collection award at their annual college fest!
Starting with a seed investment, – THEA meaning Goddess in Greek – offers more than simply fashion which someone randomly picks up online. The whole idea is to create a posh online portal by designers in India, which oozes style to make the wearer feel pampered.

The founders of THE HOUSE OF THEA did not want to work under big designers as their labels more often than not, were more associated with Indian ethnic wear. Most importantly, there is an inherent drive in the brand to evolve as a space that fosters the growth of Indian brands and designers.
What they both aspire for is that their label evolves to become synonymous with funky party wear and cool western wear. The main drive being towards being an Indian brand that connects fashionistas with fashion, that really rocks and gives the wearer a great sense of comfort as well as confidence!
